David H. Bralove
David H. Bralove, is a third generation Washington, D.C. area real estate professional. As a real estate attorney in private practice for over 30 years, David specialized in complex commercial real estate acquisitions/sales, development and finance. He has served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President for a major Mid-Atlantic thrift institution, senior real estate counsel for a NYSE company with nationwide real estate holdings, and represented both foreign governments and US companies in world-wide real estate investments. David also served as an owner-trustee for a multinational group and managed its portfolio in excess of $100 Million in real estate assets.
Before forming B&B Realty Investments, David was actively involved in representing sponsors of real estate syndications, including tenant in common, limited partnership and limited liability company offerings. In addition to the advising on company formation, tax and transactional matters, David performed due diligence investigation and analysis and his law firm, The Bralove Group, was key in negotiating and structuring the acquisition of TIC transactions exceeding $250,000,000.
David is a magna cum laude graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY and received his law degree from the American University Washington College of Law, where he served on the law review and was a Dean's Fellow Teaching Assistant. He holds licenses to practice law in Washington, D.C., Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas. David has been past President and member of the Board of Directors of The National Treatment Consortium, Inc., a charitable organization devoted to finding solutions for alcohol and other drug addictions. In addition, he has served on the advisory board of RnetHealth.com, a public multi media company devoted to mental health issues.
The Bralove family has a long and distinguished history in Washington, DC real estate. The Bralove family developed and owned some of the most notable landmark buildings in the metropolitan area, including the Shoreham Hotel and its surrounding buildings (the Shoreham North luxury condominiums and the former Tamerlane Apartments); 3901 Connecticut Avenue, NW; 3601 Connecticut Avenue, NW (the Broadmoor); 4707 Connecticut Avenue, NW; 2101 Connecticut Avenue, NW.; and 2223 H Street, NW (Everglades Apartment Building).
